Role Overview:
Legacy Kitchens is seeking a passionate, creative, and highly skilled Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team full-time. Located in Newport, KY, this on-site position offers the opportunity to create innovative designs for kitchens and bathrooms. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to understand their vision, craft detailed design plans, oversee project implementation, and contribute to sales efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Create custom kitchen and bathroom designs that reflect client needs and style preferences.
- Work closely with clients to understand their goals and translate them into innovative, functional designs.
- Produce detailed design drawings, floor plans, and specifications using CAD software and other design tools.
- Oversee the design implementation process, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Support the sales process, contributing to the growth of the company by providing excellent service and expertise.
- Stay current with design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, 20/20 Design, etc.), SketchUp, and other relevant design tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to creatively solve design challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and team members effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior design principles.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience in interior design, kitchen design, or bathroom design is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in a kitchen and bath design role is a plus.
